Unleash your greatness
This year’s edition of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit gathered a record number of participants – 14,000 people. The event offered not only a vast amount of knowledge, numerous networking opportunities, and new career possibilities but also inspiring meetings that broadened horizons and shed new light on the hottest topics, such as quantum technologies.
On five stages, 150 speakers and special guests appeared. There were 500 individual mentoring sessions and 60 workshops designed to enhance skills and facilitate career starts. In the exhibition area, 100 innovative global companies invited attendees for networking and recruitment meetings.
The event was complemented by unique accompanying meetings, including a Mid-Career event for women transitioning from junior and specialist roles to more independent and strategic positions, and a Start up after hours event for women looking to discover new career paths during or after their corporate careers.
Women on boards
Particularly important to Kornblit & Partners was the Women Go Boards meeting, aimed at showing ways to support women in shaping their path to boards and C-level positions, and establishing cooperation with men allies. Kornblit & Partners participated in the “Women go boards” workshop session. This was a meeting with representatives of non-governmental organizations as well as board members, dedicated to women aspiring to join management teams.
By July 2026, all large listed companies in the European Union must meet the goals of the directive on gender diversity on boards (known as the Women on Boards Directive). You can learn more about this from our report “Women on Boards – the Path to Balance”.
This means that diversity, equality, and inclusion are becoming strategic necessities for many companies. This opens new opportunities for women who want to take on executive and non-executive director roles. Furthermore, supervisory boards in European companies need young women who offer fresh perspectives and innovative problem-solving approaches.
Women Go Boards event included inspiring presentations, case studies from successful leaders, and discussions with panelists and representatives from organizations such as European Women on Boards and the 30% Club Poland foundation supporting female leaders. It provided participants with knowledge on overcoming common challenges, advancing in their careers, and reaching for C-level positions. It was also a great opportunity for over a hundred participants to make valuable connections, as a moderated networking session was an integral part of the meeting.
ESG reporting
As Kornblit & Partners excels in recruitment of ESG experts and managers, another hot topic for us was the discussion whether Environmental, Social, and Governance is a meaningless activity or a revolution in non-financial reporting. As social expectations and regulatory frameworks evolve, companies increasingly recognize the importance of prioritizing sustainability and responsible business conduct. Experts delved into the significance of incorporating ESG across various industries, examining its impact on corporate decision-making, risk management, and long-term value creation. From reducing carbon emissions and promoting diversity and inclusion to ensuring ethical supply chains and transparent governance structures, the discussion highlighted the multifaceted dimensions of ESG and its implications for companies, investors, and society, contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future.
Neurodiversity as a superpower
We also listened to interesting panel discussions, including “Neurodiversity as a superpower: Inclusion as Innovation,” about the importance of embracing neurodiversity in the workplace. Panelists shared insights, strategies, and success stories about creating inclusive environments where all employees can thrive. The discussion explored how embracing diverse cognitive styles, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences, can boost innovation, creativity, and productivity in organizations.
The events were parts of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024 – the largest technology conference in Europe focused on the development and empowerment of women’s careers in technology, science, and business.
